It’s simple:
- Go to the voucher editing panel.
- Set the product as a product with variations.
- Check the PDF Coupon checkbox.
In the product edit panel, you’ll see a PDF Coupon tab, just like with a regular product, where you can set global settings for all WooCommerce voucher variations.
Can You Define Individual Voucher Variation Elements?
Global settings apply to all variations, but you may want each voucher to have slightly different parameters.
With the WooCommerce PDF Coupons PRO plugin, you can define settings for individual voucher variations. Simply select a specific variant and configure its properties as you would with the global settings.
Examples:
- Bronze package: only requires the recipient’s email address.
- Silver package: additionally requires first and last name.
- Gold package: also has a unique coupon code assigned.
All these configurations are possible directly in the plugin.
How to Define Your Coupon Code for Variations
One of the new PRO features is the ability to set your custom coupon code. This allows more control over promotional campaigns:
- Modify prefix and suffix of the code
- Set the number of digits

Can You Set Up a Voucher Package Template for Variations?
Yes. First, create a voucher template using the plugin’s built-in editor: PDF Coupons → Templates → Add New.
This launches the coupon template editor, allowing you to define a template for your voucher variations.
If you already have Christmas coupon templates, you can assign them to specific variations:
- Go to the Variations tab in the voucher editing panel
- Select the appropriate Voucher Template checkbox
Templates can also be applied globally across all variations from the global voucher settings.
The combination of the template editor and voucher variations allows you to quickly create any voucher package to promote your products effectively.
